OCF awarded a multi-year $425,000 grant to the Oregon Child Care Resource and Referral Network and to Neighborhood House. This grant supports replication of a model proven to support, stabilize and improve the quality of child care, both home and family based.
The two model replication sites are in rural Polk County and Bend.
Information About OCF's Partners
Oregon Child Care Resource & Referral Network is a statewide network of 17 resource and referral agencies serving all 36 counties in Oregon. The Network has formed partnerships with government officials, parents, business leaders, child care providers and community leaders to improve the availability of high quality child care for all families in Oregon.
Neighborhood House's mission is to give children a good start, provide hope for families, maintain the dignity of older persons, and help neighbors help themselves. Neighborhood House brings neighbors together to feed the hungry, house the homeless, and educate young and old.
