He was an Oregon Community Foundation volunteer grant evaluator for three years. He organizes the Siskiyou Outback Trail Run. He is president of the Ashland Woodlands & Trails Association. And Rob also manages to find time to serve on OCF’s Reed and Carolee Walker Fund Advisory Committee.
“I can’t imagine what our communities would be like without the generosity of Reed and Carolee Walker,” he said. (The Walker Fund supports programs for the needy in Jackson County.)
An accomplished ultra-marathoner, Cain’s leadership helped the Ashland Woodlands & Trails Association receive Ashland’s James M. Ragland Volunteer Spirit Award for the association’s efforts to encircle the city in trails and open space.
