A gathering of Latinos and partners in education, nonprofits, business and government working together to improve the lives of Latino Oregonians.
October 14 - 15, 2019, Silverton, Oregon
In different parts of the state Latinos and Latino-serving organizations work to improve education, housing, health, civic engagement, youth support, parent involvement and advocacy among other fields. Yet few opportunities exist to connect, learn from and support each other. There is no better time than now, in these trying times, to come together. There is a lot to share and to work on for we have a common purpose.
The 2019 Latino-focused Conexiones Summit is designed to be an opportunity to connect, share, learn and commit to measurable actions, right here in Oregon. Building on the 2017 event, this year's Conexiones Summit will focus on topics of education, leadership and engagement, and community building/community health for Latino Oregonians. With featured speakers, breakout sessions and workshops built around our lived experiences and those of the people we work with, we have a shared and common story to tell.
The Conexiones Summit will take place October 14 through October 15 at the Oregon Garden Resort in Silverton, Oregon.
