Community Impact Assistant
Hallie provides direct support to Sonia Worcel - our Chief Community Impact Officer - and works across the Community Impact Department to advance the grantmaking, programmatic and community engagement efforts of the Foundation. She is thrilled to have joined the amazing team at OCF as she transitions into the field of philanthropy from direct social services, where she has had the opportunity to work with and provide programming for a variety of folks from many walks of life.
Hallie is passionate about environmental stewardship, climate change mitigation, and low waste initiatives. Outside of work, she spends most of her time in the garden, outdoors with her husband and dog, playing ukulele, and volunteering with local organizations such as Dougy Center, where she sits on the development committee and co-facilitates peer groups for children who are grieving. After 35 years of living in bustling New York City, she is delighted to call Oregon and the beautiful Pacific Northwest home.
“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”
