Born and raised in Portland, John believes everyone should have the opportunity to thrive in Oregon.
Before joining OCF, he led statewide education initiatives centered on underserved populations through the nonprofit sector and recently as the Executive Director of Clackamas Community College Foundation where he scaled scholarship programs and industry-workforce partnerships.
His time collaborating with communities in urban and rural settings birthed a commitment to address greater needs facing people across our state which ushered him to OCF’s community grants program. He considers it an honor to partner with seasoned staff and philanthropic leaders who are fervent about supporting transformational change in Oregon.
When John’s not engaged in community outreach, you’ll find him cheering obnoxiously for the Oregon Ducks or enjoying a strong cup of coffee brewed at a local coffee shop.
