As a senior research officer at Oregon Community Foundation, Kim manages and conducts evaluations of proactive grantmaking initiatives, supports organizational learning for the foundation and community organizations, and oversees research and evaluation projects conducted by external evaluators. Much of Kim’s career to date has focused improving the programs and systems that support young people and families. Kim also recently co-authored the book Designing Quality Survey Questions with Sheila Beth Robinson and occasionally conducts workshops on survey design. Kim lives in Portland Oregon with her husband Scott and daughter Hazel. In her spare time, Kim also loves to garden, read, knit and bake and is currently teaching herself visual note taking.
