Skyrman Techno Fund
Engaging students in innovative, hands-on educational activities.
The Skyrman Techno Fund of Oregon Community Foundation was established by Wally Skyrman to provide financial resources to science and industrial arts teachers (grades 4-12) and other youth program instructors in Jackson County.
This fund supports programs that engage students in innovative, hands-on educational activities, giving students practical skills that enable them to use tools in order to do things for themselves. Programs of interest include bike repair, cooking, sewing, robotics, home maintenance skills, GPS navigation, agriscience, and other programs where something is engineered or constructed. Preference is given to extracurricular activities, but classroom activities will also be considered.
The annual application deadline is October 1 at 11:59 p.m. Please email completed applications to firstname.lastname@example.org.
