Oregonians face a severe shortage of affordable housing. The recent emergencies that have impacted our state, particularly the pandemic-driven economic downturn and the extensive wildfires that struck last summer, have exacerbated the shortage while driving the need higher than ever. An increase in the visibility of people living on the streets is just one effect of this long-term crisis.

During this panel discussion, OCF leadership and staff members focused on housing strategies, and panelists representing organizations around Oregon that work to help community members find and afford appropriate housing. The panel discussed major initiatives like Project Turnkey, and highlighted opportunities for donors to learn about and support potential solutions to a wide-ranging problem.
