Al is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of David Evans Enterprises, Inc. (DEEI) and its subsidiaries: David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA), a professional services consulting firm, and Flux Resources, LLC. (Flux), a specialty-staffing firm. Founded in Portland, Oregon, DEEI employs nearly 1,000 people in 31 offices in 13 states.

 

An alumnus of Portland State University’s Engineering School, Al has served as a trustee on the Portland State University Foundation Board of Trustees since 2014. From 2005 to 2010, he served on PSU’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Advisory Council for the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science.

 

Al was profiled in Oregon Business Magazine’s April 2013 issue. In 2006, he was recognized as “Rainmaker of the Year” by the Daily Journal of Commerce. Al lives in Portland with his wife Najat and their six children.
