Su Embree is the former CEO and owner of DHM Research, a premier opinion research firm in Portland and Seattle. She is a co-founder of Emerging Leaders PDX which supports college students of color on their pathway to leadership. Su is also a co-founder of SINE, a nonprofit dedicated to wealth-building among young professionals of color.

Su graduated from the University of Tennessee, the first in her family to graduate from college, and has called Oregon home for close to 30 years with her husband and two grown daughters. She currently serves on the boards of the International Women's Forum (IWF Oregon), Children's Institute, and mentors company founders of emerging businesses. She is a past board member of the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI), Greater Portland 2020, Entrepreneurs’ Organization, Healthy Democracy, and the City Club.
