Arriving at OCF in January 2014, Chey began her work in the Philanthropic Services Department, and has since moved into a role that taps into her performing arts background, supporting thriving and accessible arts communities across Oregon via OCF’s Arts and Culture portfolio. As an enrolled member of the Gitxsan Tribe, Chey brings a background in working with tribal communities as well as public policy experience to her role. When she is not helping donors achieve philanthropic and social change, you can find her at the theater enjoying a Broadway musical or Shakespeare production. Chey also enjoys experimenting in the kitchen with her daughter, going on family bike rides, and reading true crime novels.
“And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
