Kim describes her role as a collaborative partner to donors. “My vital job is to listen and learn about donors’ priorities, so that I can share OCF resources and effective ways that they can give back to their communities and favorite causes.” Kim grew up on the Central California coast, but has spent most of her life in Oregon.
After earning her degree in Political Science at UC Davis (and later a graduate degree in public administration from Lewis & Clark College), she discovered the joy of philanthropy while working for Cornell University.
