Cheryl, a native Oregonian, grew up on a fourth generation orchard in the Hood River Valley. After graduating from the University of Oregon she settled in Central Oregon to raise her family and enjoy all the outdoor offerings of the high desert.
As a program officer for Central and Eastern Oregon, Cheryl connects with community members, nonprofits, and volunteers to share OCF funding priorities and grant opportunities. Cheryl and her team of volunteer grant evaluators and scholarship readers assure that Central and Eastern Oregon communities benefit from OCF's statewide reach. Cheryl's history in Central Oregon provides a strong base in building relationships among a variety of individuals and organizations.
When not at work Cheryl is exploring the rivers, mountains and trails of Central and Eastern Oregon.
