Joel joined OCF in 2014 as the administrative assistant for operations and held that position for five years before joining the grants management team. Previously, he worked for Oregon Children's Theatre, Lakewood Theatre Company, and The Denver Center for the Performing Arts. He holds a Master of Arts in theatre arts from University of Oregon and for four years was a company member of Portland's Theatre Vertigo.
