DACA, Immigrant and Refugee Fund

Gifts to this fund will support nonprofits serving Oregon’s immigrant and refugee communities.

DONATE

This fund offers a nimble and responsive way to reduce funding wait times for nonprofits and quickly furthers important work within Oregon’s immigrant, refugee and DACA communities. DACA stands for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, a program that protects eligible young adults who were brought to the US as children from deportation.

This fund prioritizes projects and programs that fall under these three areas:

  • Legal services (45%)
  • Movement building and advocacy (40%)
  • Basic and wraparound services (15%)

Grants from this funding pool are made on an ongoing basis through The Oregon Immigrant and Refugee Funders Collaborative, which brings a coordinated and collaborative funding approach between the Oregon Community Foundation, The Collins Foundation and Meyer Memorial Trust.

Please consider donating to the DACA Immigrant and Refugee Fund to support organizations addressing barriers to equitable outcomes for immigrants and refugees and center their voices and experiences in the development of programs.

When you pool your gift with others, it can make a greater impact.
