Eric brings his extensive experience in finance and accounting to assist with the increased financial oversight, risk management and complexity required by a financial services organization with $4+ billion in assets that is continuing to grow. Eric oversees OCF’s Finance, Accounting, Fund Administration and Grants Administration teams, providing leadership, supervision and support for all OCF incoming and outgoing assets.  

 

With over 35 years of experience in finance, primarily within large nonprofit organizations, Eric brings a deep commitment to mission-driven financial stewardship, strategic leadership and operational excellence. His leadership philosophy is grounded in integrity, transparency and collaboration. 

 

 A graduate of the University of Portland, Eric obtained his BBA in Marketing and a BS in Health Care Management. He then added an MBA, also from the University of Portland, and went on to become a Certified Public Accountant in 1999. He returned to his alma mater in 2008 as the Associate Vice President for Finance & Controller and served in that position until his promotion to Vice President for Financial Affairs in July 2020. During his tenure at the university, he also managed to fit in teaching a health care accounting and finance course as an Adjunct Instructor at Pacific University. Prior to 2008, he worked in various roles in health care finance at Legacy Health System, Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon, MedicaLogic/Medscape, GE Medical Systems IT and Tuality Health Care.
