As Oregon Community Foundation's Talent Acquisition Manager, Patrick Yassa (he/him) handles the Talent functions across OCF's 5 offices in the state. Patrick has 8+ years of experience as a Talent Acquisition professional across numerous industries including: Hospitality, CPG, Cannabis and Logistics and Transportation. His goal is to build teams that incorporate diversity of background, culture, experience and mentality.
Patrick served as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist for Wyld for nearly 4 years, helping them grow from 200 to about 1,400 employees in that time. He placed an importance on working with local and national DEI focused job boards to ensure job postings were inclusive and readily available to under-represented communities. One of Patrick's main projects with Wyld was spearheading their Expungement Clinic program; finding Expungement partners in each state Wyld operated in and developing mutually beneficial partnerships.
Patrick was born in Downey, CA and spend the first 14 years of his life in Southern California. He comes from a large Egyptian family that he is incredibly close with. He moved to Oregon as a Freshman in High School, attending Tigard High School and playing Water Polo. He also previously volunteered for MESD Outdoor School, Cat Adoption Team and Tryon Creek State Natural Area. Currently, most of Patrick’s free time is spent playing with his 2-year-old daughter, cooking and watching sports.
