Several important tax changes in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act apply starting this year. We will work through a theoretical taxpayer to gauge the impact of the new charitable deduction order, 0.5% charitable deduction floor, and the new itemized deduction ceiling. We will also discuss carryover deductions, an interesting court ruling, and inflation adjustments for 2026.
